If you have logged into your airline’s website or app and can only see your outbound flight (leaving the UK) but your return flight is completely missing, don't panic! Your holiday is perfectly secure.
There are a few common, standard industry reasons why this happens, and it usually just means you need to log in a second time using different details.
✈️ Reason 1: You are flying with two different airlines
We always look for the best timings and cheapest rates for your holiday, which often means booking your departure flight with one airline (e.g., Ryanair) and your flight home with a completely different airline (e.g., easyJet).
What to do: Take a look at your Flight Summary paperwork or the Your Flights section of your My Bookings account. Check if the airline logo and name match for both directions. If they are different, you will need to head to the second airline's website or app and log into your return leg there.
🆔 Reason 2: You have two different airline reference numbers
Even if you are flying out and back with the exact same airline, our booking system may have secured your seats as two completely separate single journeys to get you the lowest price.
What to do: Look closely at the Airline Booking Ref in the Your Flights section of your My Bookings account.. Check if there are separate tabs or lines for your Outbound and Inbound journeys. If the references are different, the airline treats them as two completely unrelated trips. You will need to log out of the airline's site and log back in completely from scratch using the second reference number to see your return flight.
☀️ Reason 3: You are flying with SunExpress
If you are flying with SunExpress, they handle all tour operator bookings as strictly split journeys.
The Rule: Both your outbound and inbound legs will never show up together on the SunExpress website or app.
What to do: When logging into the SunExpress portal, you must select the Tour Operator tab and always choose the One-way option on their search screen. You must use your Outbound flight reference to manage your trip out, and then repeat the exact same one-way process completely separately using your Inbound reference to manage your flight home.
📱 How to check your details easily
The quickest way to see exactly how your flights are set up is inside your secure portal:
Log into your On the Beach account and head to My Bookings.
Go to the Your Flights section.
Look at the top of the flight summary card to see if you have separate toggle tabs for Outbound and Inbound. This page will give you the exact airline names and reference numbers you need to log into both legs successfully!
