If you've contacted your hotel and they don't have your details yet, please don't worry! This is very common and does not mean your hotel isn't booked.
Here is everything you need to know about how your booking works and what to do next.
Why does this happen?
The main reference number at the top of your paperwork is for On the Beach. The hotel uses a separate Hotel Reference to find your room in their own system.
Guest lists are usually sent to hotels around 7 days before check-in. If your holiday is further away, the hotel simply hasn't received the list yet.
Sometimes, the hotel has the reservation logged under our supplier name rather than your personal name until closer to your stay.
Finding the Right Reference Number
You don't need a separate document, the exact code the hotel needs is already on your main paperwork!
👉Go to My Bookings on the On the Beach app or website and open your Booking Confirmation.
👉Scroll down to the Hotel Summary section.
👉Find your Hotel Reference (it starts with OTBH).
Look for this in your paperwork:
Hotel Summary
Hotel Reference: OTBHXXXXXXX
What Should You Do Next?
✈️ Travelling in More Than 7 Days?
You don't need to worry. The hotel will automatically receive your details closer to your check-in date. You’re still welcome to contact them directly for any general queries or special requests!
🧳 Travelling in the Next Few Days?
If you want to contact the hotel directly before you fly, make sure to give them:
Your OTBH reference number (not your main On the Beach booking number).
Your check-in date and the lead passenger's name.
