What is this Gadget Insurance all about?
It’s your holiday peace-of-mind package for your beloved tech! Gadget insurance means your phones, tablets, laptops, and more are covered for the annoying stuff like accidental damage, malicious damage, theft, and loss.
The cover is for a maximum total value of £3,000 per booking with a £50 excess for all claims.
How do I know if I qualify?
It’s pretty simple, really! If you’ve booked a package holiday that’s 4-star for 7 nights or more, you’re probably in!
You're eligible if your booking was made:
📅 By 31st August 2026.
🕒 At least 60 days before you jet off.
👥 For 6 people or less.
✈️ And you’re departing before 31st December 2026.
I’m in! How do I claim my Gadget Insurance perk?
Easy peasy! If you’re eligible, you can claim your perk in the 'Your Perks' section of the On the Beach app (under 'My Bookings').
⚠️ DON'T MISS OUT! You have just 10 days from the date you booked to claim this gem.
📩 You should get the email with your policy details about 14 days before your holiday.
💡 If you haven’t had it by then, just drop an email to the lovely folks at onthebeachperk@rockinsurance.com.

You'll need to check the full details in the policy document we sent you from our provider, ROCK. You can contact them directly at onthebeachperk@rockinsurance.com.
My booking's changed! Am I still covered?
It depends on when and who made the change...

| YOU made any changes within 14 days of departure. | NOPE, sorry! You’ll lose your free gadget protection perk. |
| The AIRLINE or HOTEL changed your flight or accommodation (outside your control) and you still qualify for the perk. | YES! We'll automatically update your gadget protection for you. |
| The AIRLINE or HOTEL change happened within 7 days of departure. | We need to check! Unfortunately, we can't automatically update your perk, so you’ll need to contact On the Beach via Live Chat and we’ll review the booking and advise on the next steps. |
