Middle East Airspace Travel Updates

The safety of our customers is our absolute priority. Following the reopening of UAE airspace and updated FCDO advice declaring the region safe to travel, we are pleased to confirm that travel is resuming. We continue to work closely with our airline partners and follow official guidance to ensure you have a smooth journey.

1. I am due to travel to the UAE (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)

Departing 1st April – 30th June

Status: Planned to go ahead (for new bookings). Please note that prior to the airspace reopening, we had already processed the cancellation of all existing bookings departing up to 30th June.

  • If you booked before 18th June: Your booking was cancelled during the airspace closure. Your full refund is secure, and you do not need to contact us.

  • If you booked from 18th June onwards: If you made a new booking on or after 18th June and your account shows the status as Confirmed, your holiday is active and going ahead as planned.

Departing 1st July onwards

  • Status: Planned to go ahead. Flights further in the future are expected to proceed as scheduled.

  • Changes to your holiday: We are unable to facilitate destination or date changes. 

  • Action: There is no need to take action or contact us. We will be in touch with plenty of notice if anything changes with your holiday.


2. I am due to travel to Turkey or Egypt

  • Status: Unaffected. Travel to Turkey and Egypt is currently unaffected by regional airspace closures.

  • Action: Get holiday ready! Simply pack your bags and head to the airport as planned. We continue to monitor FCDO advice to ensure your stay remains safe.


3. I am due to travel to any other destination

  • Status: Unaffected. No other destinations are currently affected by these airspace closures.

  • Action: Your holiday is planned to go ahead as scheduled. You do not need to contact us; please continue with your travel plans.
