I am travelling with mobility equipment. What do I need to do?

When traveling on holiday, you can bring your mobility equipment free of charge on flights. There is no need to pre-book walking frames or crutches with the airline. Simply communicate your needs to airline staff at check-in.

If you're planning to bring an electric wheelchair or mobility scooter on your trip, it's important to let us know ahead of time so we can inform the airline. Each airline has its own policy for handling this, so we’ll make sure everything is sorted for you.

To do this, log in to your On the Beach account and select the holiday you'd like to add this to by clicking 'View and Manage'. From there, head to the Menu and look for the 'Make Changes' section. You'll find an option there called 'Disability Support and Special Assistance.' Once you’re in, answer a few questions about the equipment you're bringing, and we'll update our suppliers accordingly to ensure you're ready for your jollies.
